“Dit is meen Berlin” is a collection of photos that simply reflects my Berlin, as I experienced it, during a time when I always had my camera with me as I strolled through different neighborhoods and simply documented their essence.
I grew up in Wilmersdorf and Wedding and later moved to the south of Berlin. Since I spent a lot of time in Berlin-Mitte when I was still active in Berlin’s nightlife, the south offered the perfect balance. Quiet, little noise, and above all, lots of greenery.
My goal was to capture Berlin at a time when many people are switching to digital media and analog photography is becoming increasingly rare, but for me, it remains timeless.
