Honest moments from unfiltered Berlin.
“Dit is meen Berlin” is a collection of images that simply reflect my Berlin, as I perceived it, in my time when I always carried my camera with me while walking through different districts and simply documented them in their being.
I grew up in Wilmersdorf and Wedding and later moved to the south of Berlin. Since I spent a lot of time in Berlin Mitte when I was still active in Berlin’s nightlife, the south was the perfect balance. Quiet, little noise and above all green.
My goal was to capture Berlin at a time when many parts of the population are switching to the digital medium and
analog photography is becoming rarer and rarer, but is still imperishable for me.
